Lent and Easter Schedule
“Take Love’s Journey to the cross”

Palm Sunday:  April 13th, 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m.
We will all participate in the waving of palm branches as we
Remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem – the beginning
of Holly Week.  Special music presentations will include children
and adults.

Easter Egg Hunts!: April 13th,  Palm Sunday, 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
A special time for children before and after worship services.

Maundy Thursday: April 17th, 7:00 p.m.
Holy Communion will be the focus as we recall Jesus’ last supper
with his disciples.  The more traditional liturgy will be used, including
the “Prayer of Humble Access.”

Good Friday: April 18th, 7:00 p.m.
Come experience a Tenebrae Service – a service of darkness.  Readings
Will be shared based on the Passion story, leading Jesus’ crucifixion and
Burial in the tomb.  A moving and poignant time of worship…

Easter Sunday: April 20th, 6:15 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m.
Our celebrations of Jesus’ Resurrection begin with a Sunrise Service at
Heritage Park.  Bring your lawn chairs and come worship the Risen Lord
as the sun rises.  A continental breakfast will be served at the church
afterwards.  Worship in the sanctuary will be at the regular times, with
special music by our choirs and musicians, and with the sanctuary
beautifully decorated in Easter Lilies.

“Take up” something for Lent instead of “giving up”
something for Lent.  Take up worship!
