MDO & Preschool "Train up a child in the way they should go, and they shall not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 The Director and teachers are members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and participate in yearly educational opportunities. The Preschool program begins the day after Labor Day and runs until the latter part of May. Holidays are observed in conjunction with the St. Tammany Parish School System. Classes are held 9:00am - noon each day The Preschool program is accepting registration and/or names for our waiting lists for children Mother's Day Out Mother's Day Out is a ministry, support and service to families in our church and our Slidell community. MDO strives to lovingly care for young children in a Christian environment. Children learn to form bonds with other adults and children while providing some free time for parents, grandparents, or other care givers while family memebers run errands, work, go to school or attend appointments.
Children participate in a variety of social activities appropriate for their age and level of development. This may include indoor and outdoor play, art, music, stories, chapel time, and holiday parties. Classes follow a general routine each day to ensure each child knows what to expect next during the day. Our regular staff members and substitutes are Christian parents with diverse backgrounds; who come together to care for, nuture and love the children and families of MDO.
Classes are held 8:50am - 2:30pm Monday through Thursday
Two or Four day programs are offered for ages 6 months through 4 years old The Mother's Day Out program is accepting registration and/or names for our waiting lists
for infants through 4 years old for the 2012-2013 school year.
