BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND:
Christianity’s Family Tree
By Adam Hamilton
** This study was recently offered on Friday mornings and was very well attended. Many requested an evening session **
Sunday Evenings at 7:00p-8:00p, led by Rev. Tiffanie Lyon in Room 107
Starting June 9th
6 Sessions: 6/9, 6/16, 6/30, 7/7, 7/21, 7/28
This is an inspiring and intriguing look at eight Christian denominations and faith traditions. Comparing the Christian family to our own extended families, Adam Hamilton contends that each denomination has a unique, valuable perspective to offer on the Christian Faith. Together we will journey through the beliefs and history of Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism, Baptists, Pentecostalism and our very own Methodism. We can learn a lot from our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, while at the same time, learn more about why we as Methodists believe what we believe; Video/Participant book/small group discussion.
